LET´S IMPROVE EV PERFORMANCE TOGETHER!
Scheduled for Nov. 8, 2023, in Luedenscheid, Germany, this workshop is a joint initiative between thyssenkrupp Steel Europe, RWTH Aachen – Institute of Electrical Machines, and BROCKHAUS MEASUREMENTS. Adding further value to the session, we will have insightful contributions from esteemed experts, Dr. Jean Le Besnerais (EOMYS, France), and Dr. Antti Lehikoinen (Smeklab, Finland).
The workshop agenda will address the following key topics:
- Challenges in simulation of e-motor design based on lack of data
- Importance of NVH analysis in e-motors
- E-mobility impact on NGO steel market
- Steel material and technology solutions for efficient traction motors
- The impact of mechanical processing on the properties of electrical steel in automotive applications
- Standardized testing versus realistic magnetization conditions in electrical machines – rotating magnetization, vector properties and PWM control
- Material selection for automotive applications – a detailed view to the opportunity of iron loss modelling and material design
- Advanced measurement technologies for characterization of magnetic materials used in automotive applications
