We have developed our cold-rolled strip grade BHS based on DIN EN 10268 and DIN EN 10149-2. Individually specified, micro-alloyed hot strips are used for the production of BHS. With BHS we achieve for our customers a material with variable yield strengths from 500 MPa to 900 MPa that offer excellent cold forming properties at the same time.
The BHS grades are therefore ideally suited for stamped and bent parts, but also drawn parts or products that are manufactured using the roll-forming process.
A customer-specific BHS can lead to weight reductions and thus reduce the cost of goods for our customers. In automotive applications, even small weight reductions are a competitive advantage.
